Christmas in New York

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

For me, the holiday season is magical.  The wonder and excitement that I had as a child never faded-in fact, I would say I've become even more of a holiday fanatic as an adult than I was as a child.  And nothing, nothing beats the holiday season in New York City.

Rob and I have an annual holiday date in New York City, and it is one of the most exciting dates we go on all year.

What do you we like to do? So glad you asked!

Radio City Christmas Spectacular

The Radio City Rockettes have been kicking since 1925, and the show is truly spectacular.  We always purchase our tickets online very early, because the show has a tendency to sell out certain dates and times.  We also like to sit pretty high up (in some of the most affordable seats) not for the price, but for the amazing views of the Rockette's famous formations.  Be sure to bundle up though, because in years past we have had to wait outside on line for the show to start.

Rockefeller Center

You have never seen a tree until you have seen the one in Rockefeller Center.  Every year since 1933, NYC has erected a tree in Rockefeller Center that is between 70-100 feet tall, with upwards of 30,000 lights twinkling away.

The Windows on 5th Avenue

There's a reason these windows are famous.  The shops no longer just design windows-they design entire stories that can be followed as you stroll along 5th Avenue.  Be sure to take in the elaborate displays as you stroll hand in hand.
